This is a lab created blue garnet aka Cobalt YAG (Yttrium Aluminum Garnet)

With the same appearance as a fine, high end Aquamarine, but has a higher hardness (Moh’s 8.5), and refractive index RI (1.83), along with excellent dispersion, making this lab grown gem extremely durable.

Created by pulled Czochralski method.
